World works cooperative (hereinafter referred to as the “the Cooperative”) hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) regarding the handling of users’ personal information in connection with the services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided on this website.”
Article 1 (Personal information)
Personal information refers to “personal information” as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act. It means information relating to a living individual that can identify a specific individual through a name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, and other descriptions included in that information. When the Company makes a Correction, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make a Correction, etc., it will promptly notify the user of this decision.
Article 8 (Suspension of use of Personal information)
If we receive a request from an individual to suspend or delete their personal information (hereinafter referred to as “suspension of use, etc.”) on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or has been acquired by fraudulent means, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if we determine that it is necessary to comply with the request, we will suspend the use or delete the personal information without delay.

Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension, deletion, or similar actions would incur excessive costs or otherwise be difficult to implement, and if alternative measures can be taken to protect the rights and interests of the user, the Company shall take such alternative measures.
Article 9(Change of Privacy Policy)
The contents of this policy can be changed without notifying the user, except for matters otherwise specified by laws and regulations or in this policy.
